Tuy nhiên, RestoreIT là một chương trình được ít người biết đến mặc dù nó một trong những sản phẩm tương đối hay của hãng FarStone.
RestoreIT có gì đặc biệt?
Một khi đã được cài đặt, RestoreIT tự tạo cho nó một phân vùng riêng để khởi động vào chương trình của chính nó do đó không cần phải sử dụng thêm công cụ khác (tạm gọi là chương trình mồi) để phục hồi dữ liệu.
RestoreIT có cơ chế hoạt động linh hoạt vì nó có cơ chế sao lưu dữ liệu hằng ngày (giống restore point của Windows); mặc khác nó còn cho phép tạo một file ảnh để sao lưu dữ liệu ở vào thời điểm máy hoạt động tốt nhất để phục hồi lại sau này (tương tự như Ghost).
RestoreIT cho phép tạo file ảnh sao lưu dữ liệu và phục hồi dữ liệu đó từ một phân vùng ẩn của ổ cứng do đó nó tránh được tối đa lỗi khi phục hồi vì dữ liệu được chứa trên một phân vùng riêng (tương tự như recovery của Latop). Tuy nhiên, nó còn cho phép bạn tạo được nhiều file ảnh (nếu phân vùng ẩn đủ chỗ trống) chứ không phải là một như recovery của Laptop.
Ngoài ra RestoreIT còn có một điểm nữa vượt trội là RestoreIT còn cho phép bảo vệ dữ liệu bằng mật khẩu (đối với Laptop, nếu lỡ táy máy bấm nút phục hồi dữ liệu và OK là mọi chuyện thế là xong).
